The Dell SC9000 Storage Center Array Controller is a high-performance storage solution designed to power Dell SC Series arrays. Equipped with dual 3.2GHz 8-core Intel Xeon processors per controller and 256GB of system memory per controller (512GB total), it delivers exceptional processing power and efficiency. The system supports up to 1,024 drives per array, with a maximum raw capacity of 3PB, making it ideal for enterprise-scale data storage needs. Compatible with SAS and NL-SAS drives, as well as SSDs (write-intensive and read-intensive), it ensures flexible and scalable storage solutions.

Housed in a 2U rack-mount chassis, the SC9000 offers seven PCIe3 slots per controller and supports multiple network connectivity options, including Fibre Channel (up to 32 x 16Gb ports), iSCSI (up to 20 x 10Gb ports), and FCoE (up to 12 x 10Gb ports). Expansion enclosures such as the SC420, SC400, and SC280 provide additional storage capacity, enhancing scalability for growing enterprises. The system operates on Dell Storage Center OS (SCOS) 6.7 or greater, ensuring seamless integration and advanced storage management capabilities.
